College Graduation Session at Miami University in Oxford OH
When I arrived at Miami University in Oxford Ohio, it was gray. The clouds were getting dense overhead and most of the campus appeared to be sheltering in place, with very few students out and about. However, the campus brightened up as soon as I laid eyes on E and her boyfriend!
These two emitted warmth and joy
which they carried into the session while celebrating her graduation.
Miami University has such a rich history, I love learning about the traditions around campus. What better place for a classy champagne pop than right at the hub? Careful not to step on it, E stood beside the seal and popped the bottle open. She poured some out and and stole a sip along the way per tradition.
We also visited the iconic Upham Arch and the Tri-Delt Sundial, which is supported by some lucky turtles. One of my new favorite views has to be from the brick wall overlooking the lawn leading up to MacCracken Hall. It was a perfect backdrop for a stunning senior who is ready to take on the world.
